Titanic People is a proposed community exhibition space in Westbourne Presbyterian Community Church, “The Shipyard Church”, on Belfast’s famous Newtownards Road. The church still looks the same today as it did when it was built back in 1880, and is regularly used as a performance space as well as a place of worship.The exhibitions will tell the story of the people of East Belfast...
The exhibitions will tell the story of the people of East Belfast. Stories of the men and women who build world class industries, who build the Titanic, who signed the Covenant, the stories of individuals who became household names in the fields of sport; literature; music, politics and film. The stories of both Nationalist and Unionist communities who fought side by side in the World Wars and each other during the Troubles. Titanic People ~ Sharing Our Story.
